“Probably one of my favourite restaurants on the island and definitely in West Wight. Ady runs a great place and the staff are a credit to him. All vey lovely, polite and friendly, we are always made to feel welcome and well looked after without ever being crowded out.
The food is delightful and if your are gluten (and dairy) free like me, you are still spoilt for choice with a wonderful array of offerings in the menu.
Did I forget to mention that it is right on Solent and very dog friendly - amazing!”

“We went to the Highdown today as a group of four and took advantage of their mid-week roast offer. Today the choice was beef or pork. I had the beef and it was delicious. A winter warmer pudding was also part of the deal with a choice of apple crumble or syrup sponge. For £12.50 it was fantastic value. The greeting and service was warm and friendly and we had a really lovely time. We’ll definitely be back.”
