Have stayed here several times and will return again in the future. Great value rooms, conveniently located with really friendly, helpful staff. Flexible around check in time which was most appreciated. Really tasty breakfast. Good selection of drinks in the pub. Will store luggage - very useful.

Only stopped for lunch. We wouldn’t return.Food & drinks: Visited with friends for lunch. Pub had very few customers, but we waited 40 minutes for food which had clearly been sitting around in the oven as it was burnt and hard as rock (steak pie x 2 and pork belly)certainly won’t return and wouldn’t recommend based on our experience.

Absolutely stoked to have found this gem of a pub/tavern! The moment you walk through the door, you can feel and see the history! It's like going back in time, but with the modern, high standards we tend to expect these days!We were able to find a lovely room, to have to ourselves, which was wonderful, as we have a toddler, that is very hard to contain! It was lovely to be able to relax! We didn't have a main meal, we just shared some chips and a wonderful crab nachos dish! Generous portions, and exceptional quality food and drink!Next time we are on the island, we will be coming here for sure!!Thankyou to all the staff! Perfect!

Just had dinner. Good service apart from non standard service charge on bill. Prefer to leave cash tip. Great food in nice atmosphere.

We booked a table for 4 for Sunday lunch, as advised on the website & social media. The reservation stated they needed the table back in 2hrs which worked for us as we had places to go. We arrived in good time and greeted with a warm welcome and it all went downhill from there. Service was slow, we were told that if we downloaded their app we could benefit from a meal deal (not possible even though we did manage to get the app). The food was okay but nothing to write home about. It took ages for our main course to be cleared and dessert order to be taken and the wait for the dessert was so long we had to ask if it had been ordered and suggested if it hadn’t been prepared then we would cancel it. We were told it was on its way but still a long wait. It was at least hot and tasty when it eventually arrived but we were late to our next appointment. Would not rush back. Yes, they were busy but then they either need more staff or to decline bookings.Nearby activities: The pier is nearby as are a few interesting shops

Lovely evening, good food, great service! Couldn't fault the service, staff were friendly and there to help without being over your shoulder. They kindly offered to move us when things got a bit loud & rowdy (it was Friday night) to a quieter spot - thank you! Would definitely go again.Food & drinks: I ordered the pie and chips, the pie was huge, the filling could have easily been a third less than it was. Very tasty just couldn't eat it all. Good wine & beer selection.

We stayed here for a night a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed our time here. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Our room was well decorated and clean with a great ensuite with a large bath. The bar is pleasant with a lovely outdoor courtyard. Location is very good- right by the pier, a minutes walk from the ferry terminal and near all the shops and restaurants Yarmouth has to offer.

Popped in for a light lunch. Crab and prawns excellent. Ploughman's unexciting standard cheddar pity with so many wonderful Island cheeses available.

Staff and service excellent.Nice historic pub with great food and drink. The room wasn't the best, it smelt rather musty, bed wasn't the greatest and no shower head (had to hold my hand).Good location in the centre of Yarmouth, but no free parking

We had a lovely lunch here, all 10 of us - adults and children. We sat in their new covered outside seating area so out of the sun which was better for my 90 year old mum. The food was good value, served quickly and tasted lovely. We had pizza, sandwiches, ploughman's, the steak kebabs, children's sausages and an adults fish and chips - so a good selection from the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again next time we are on IOW.

A charming establishment which caught our eye in the market square. 4 of us ate here for lunch and the menu was packed with lots of choice, but as our time was limited we all opted for freshly made sandwiches and they didn't disappoint. We also shared a large bottle of wine and were given complimentary water. As we were leaving it got very busy with both tourists and locals alike. Well worth a visit.

The Bugle Coaching Inn provides hands down one of the best roasts the IOW has to offer! Along with a warm and comfortable setting. There is also plenty of tables providing views of the TV's to allow you to watch all the major sporting events. Service was extremely quick and the food was piping hot!

Had evening meal with family and friends. Good food and service. Two of our guests had allergies. The chef took the time and trouble to come to the table to explore the requirements and explain the menu. All sorted without any problems. I had not been in The Bugle since the 1960's as I was a Yarmouth resident until 1971.

Super welcome even though we were very early. Quickly seated and drinks ordered. Food was speedy and excellent. The service of the food was good but it did take 2crequests for the bill for it to appear otherwise an excellent night.
