Turned up for a table without booking when the restaurant was empty, only to be told they had no tables available due to staff shortages.

Went for a Sunday breakfast treat never againQueued in line behind 6 people for coffee no milk no staff to refill waited over 10 minsLimited choice of pastries etc again no one to refillSelf service tables were full of food crumbs sticky very unhygienicBreakfast arrived after 30 minutes of waiting cold sent back waited another 10 minutes to find a lovely hair in my food enough is enough please do better

Need to put the heating on. Extremely cold and our family had to keep our coats on. It was so cold that the food on the pass had lost its heat by the time it had reached the table.A positive is that the team were friendly and replaced our meals immediately when we raised our concerns. Our replacement food was good (when warm). The team did look understaffed and could've done with at least an extra team member, but they did well.The company need to think about the well-being of their staff. To create an environment where there is no heating to the point where food is losing temperature in seconds and an environment where team are short staffed due to labour constraints has a physical and mental impact on employees.It would not surprise me if the team turnover was high, unfortunately the focus is on profits not team. This is a shame as the team on duty were good.
