Great little fish shop and very reasonably priced. Cod was really chunky and beautifully cooked, chicken nuggets were more like goujons and were wolfed down, chips were perfectly cooked. Everything was cooked fresh to order and staff were polite and friendly.Note: they are cash only.

we ordered after a busy day being out and about as we fancied a quick bite but unfortunately we were left very disappointed. we had a chicken burger, battered sausage x2 and a children's meal. All was so bland and stale. Its a real shame as we live a minute down the road, but we won't be back as it was a complete waste of money. I don't understand how you can make chips have no flavour at all, but here we are. The menu and quality of food needs vastly increasing.

Mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand I can't complain about the quantity and quality of the food but the fact their opening hours are so limited and you can't use card in 2023 is a bit of a downer hence the 3 stars. Overall not terrible though.

Cash Only! Reason they say is because bad signal and not always strong enough for paying by card ?Soggy batter and some of the chips weren’t cooked right through! Although food passable i now drive to Ashford only 3 further miles

This is a worthy Fish & Chips bar.Fish cooked to perfection, with an amazing batter.Likely dependent on the potato used, the Chips are tasty and also expertly cooked.Although the bar is wheelchair friendly, the carpark is not, having loose broken gravel, and pot-holes this could be a challenge. Access too is a single driveway.It is possible the delightful friendly staff, may accommodate a request by phone to order, and bring your order to a disabled vehicle in this carpark. Although this would need to be tested, the staff appear accommodating. Well done.

Last time I ordered scampi it was burnt pieces of batter. I went back there today and told them about my last dinner and asked if the scampi could be cooked better. The answer “it’s the same as before” !! I chose cod instead my husband had pie - both were very cold when got them. Chips were luke warm and very few of them. Salt and vinegar had already been put on without our say so - we will not waste our money again so in future we’ll go else where (New Romney) is the best option

One of the best Fish and Chip shops around, have a had a number of meals from here always freshly cooked and the portions are huge. Would definitely recommend it to anyone

Didn’t like the meal in a bag why couldn’t u wrap or put in a box trying to eat sausage and chips out of a bag is just irritating, the chips went soggy from sweating out in the bag I didn’t get asked if I wanted salt and vinegar when I went to asked it was already pre packed up cooked bagged up and ready to go half hour before closing time so that was annoying mushy peas wasn’t even hot let alone warm the batter was good on the sausage tho but I wouldn’t return

First time to try fish and chips from here. Verygood fish and chips,large portions, not at all greasy. Including a piece of lemon with the fish is a mice touch. Staffvery plrasant.
