Really fresh fish. Great burgers and even a chicken burger for fussy daughter. Be aware they only take cash. No card payments whatsoever.

Food is fine but I just can't be bothered to use the place as they only take cash. Adding it up, they lose around £650 a year out of just us and I have mates that do the same. I just pick it up from somewhere that takes card on the way home. Tried it again today in case they started taking card. They don't. Instead of buying cod and chips for the whole family, I just bought large chips to tide us over as I only had a fiver in my pocket and the cash machine wasn't working again. The guy in front of me was in the same boat. Shame, as would be far more convenient buying it from my own village.

Such a shame about this place, the only fish and chip shop in Headcorn but it seems that whoever now runs it, have sadly cheaped out on the potatoes. The majority of chips are like shards of glass and stab your gums and they taste cheap. They used to be lovely. I also don't understand why they put chips into a paper bag, they sweat and stick to the insides of the bag. The sausages look anaemic aswell. It could be great but it feels like there's no love or care in the food at all.

Delicious food. Good service. Atmosphere was amazing and it only takes around 5 to 10 mins to cook.

I have just bought a pensioners portion of fish and chips. I was looking forward to eating it as it’s been years since I treated myself to this meal. It was a huge disappointment, the fish was dry and stale, as were the chips, most of it’s gone in the bin. Also, the moody chap who served me grunted that they only take cash, so I went off and got some from the machine- wish I hadn’t bothered frankly!!

A really nice business staff friendly and helpful. I have always had fresh and nicely cooked food whenever I have called in. Well worth a visit.

Not been here for years so thought I would give it a go. Unfortunately I won't be buying from here again. The fish was a bit too greasy for me. I ordered Rock and found the fish itself slightly slimy tasting ?? Bought Rock and chips & Cod and chips which came to just under £21.00. That said, it was Friday evening and it was quite busy
