We had a lovely afternoon tea today - very generous portions for the price and some really interesting, different options that you don't normally see on afternoon tea menus. The soup shot was a lovely touch and delicious, as was the rest of it. Service was also great with really friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Tiny little café with a small menu of sandwiches, toasties, paninis and jacket potatoes. Great selection of cakes - we had lemon drizzle and toffee temptation and they were honestly delicious. Really lovely local feeling in there, but we were welcomed. When asked for baby changing facility, they didn't have any except a changing mat. I was advised that most people change their baby on the floor of the toilet cubicle that they had... rest assured, there was no way I was changing my 2 month old on a toilet floor. When I asked if I could change him on the bench at our table that was relatively secluded, she said no because of the other guests, which resulted me having to change him on the back seat of the car instead.Kid-friendliness: No baby changing facilities. They did have a kids menu.

An attention to detail, local business providing lunch and much more. Great little place and should be visited if you fancy somewhere different. Pizza’s look amazing and will certainly try them. Lovely staff, Sadie and Lisa are friendly, kind and make you feel welcome.

Quick service for two hungry and slightly damp cyclists. Delicious food, especially the bread pudding. Many thanks.

I went with a friend who is recovering from major surgery and only just getting back to eating. We shared a couple of small things from the menu and took our time and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

An amazing find through Trip Advisor when searching for a dog friendly cafe! The service was outstanding to humans and dogs! We had a young puppy and an older dog and both were treated well! With treats and a bowl of water! Highly recommend and will be back again! Thank you all!

We wanted to try an afternoon tea, so we visited The Cosy Kettle, as they came highly recommended. We were definitively not disappointed. Sadie and her team were very welcoming and the service was fantastic. All the items we ate were hand cooked and utterly delicious. We had an excellent time and will be back again soon. I'd definitively recommended anyone to try x

We came across The Cosy Kettle a few weeks ago on a run, and saw the pancake breakfast (order 48 hours in advance) so booked for a birthday treat. It was outstandingly amazing, super yummy, really lovely environment, friendly people and great value. Definitely will be back as there are so many other things on the menu we want to try! Would completely recommend the pancakes too.

I visited here for a belated birthday afternoon tea, and I am so glad I did. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and there were surprising extras. We were offered a taster of the brussel sprout soup, which was surprisingly delicious. The scones were still warm and there was even a lemon posset as a palate cleanser. I am definitely coming back!
