Unbelievably good food.Possible it was a night lacking staff but from the off, partially ignored or met with fairly non- committal service; for example, a half hour wait to get a drink, following with another half hour wait for the next one (from point of order) to be served a bottle of wine sans glasses. The bill had some extra drinks associated with the price which were fictional - this was resolved upon payment but should never have been an issue.Fab food, service less so. Hate to leave a slightly bad review but on this occasion it is what it is. ?♂️

Really lovely food, but I am sorry to say the service could do with improving. Waited over an hour and 20 minutes for our meal. Maybe if they didn't do so many takeaways they could concentrate on their restaurant customers.

So, let me start with, we did not get any food.We didn’t even get that far!We walked though the front door to see the owner/manager/whoever trying to climb up the back of a guys chair whilst serving a table of lads.We waited for quite some time for someone to come and serve us, the staff looked very sheepish and almost embarrassed to be there.After climbing down off the chair, he barked “have you got a reservation??” to which we replied, no.Not thinking this would be a problem because there was so many tables empty, he said “there are no tables, goodbye”…. And as we walked out the door, he said, at the topOf his voice: “if your name’s not down, you’re not getting in!!“The smell of the food from outside was really nice, enticing, but having now looked at the other reviews I can see that the staff, or at least their manager/owner is where the whole place is let down.Not often I write a review, but I can certainly say I’m super happy that we turned around and walked out of this place sharply!!Watch this space on Google Maps, it will be for sale soon, and good luck to New Management taking over from this lot!!

Food was OK until I found a piece of plastic in my curry, assume from the food wrapper. I told staff but even when I gave it to them they either didn't understand or didn't care... would rush to go

The manager seemed either drunk or under the influence of something. Very rude and confrontational. Avoid this place if you can.

Visiting Broadstairs, walked past and the smell enticed us in! We walked in and we were asked abruptly if we had booked we answered no to which we were barked at “if your names not down you’re not getting in” and he promptly turned his back! Shocking customer service. We would have come back another night but no chance! These guys don’t deserve the custom!
It was my brother’s special Birthday and the staff were so very accommodating with letting us decorate the table many hours before with confetti, balloons etc. We were lucky enough to have an area to ourselves at the back of the restaurant which made it the perfect Birthday venue. The food was really good and service very quick. They brought out the Birthday cake and made such an effort to make the occasion special. Really appreciated just how lovely all the staff were. We don’t live in the area but if we did we would visit this fab Indian restaurant frequently. Thank you all for a brilliant night.

Staff were so accommodating for my sons 16th bday meal with family and friends. They made him feel so special and the food was amazing and so reasonably priced

On the plus side, my main was good, the starter also was good, however my wife’s samosas were still frozen in the middle which should tell you something? The service was biblically comical - meals being served totally out of sync with one another and after a very long wait. Had to ask twice for the frozen samosas to be taken off the bill - and after that the amount charged for was excessive I think for what we had……. Not to be repeated
