We went in just as they were opening at 4pm so were the first customers of the day.The barman Terry welcomed us with a friendly smile and immediately agreed to show us a magic trick. However as he was serving us a regular magician called Jez, who was only having a quiet drink and wasn't meant to be working, showed us a few card tricks... He was amazing! Good cocktails and the magic was very good. We were only there for one cocktail but even in that short time the magician, Ben, got to our table and did a full trick. Yes magic with cocktails is a bit of a gimmick but it's a gimmick that works. Particularly suited to a cocktail bar also.

I popped into Houdinis Magic Bar in Broadstsirs after a day out at the beach. Beer was good, and we were regaled with lots of magic tricks by Dazzling Darren. Real up close and personal magic tricks. Great fun, and a great idea. ??
