We have always loved this restaurant and have previously posted several positive reviews. They have also delivered some truly memorable suppers to us. However the delivered meal sent to us last Friday night, was so awful that it needs a review. Perhaps this venue has changed hands, but we were so looking forward to our special mixed Hors D' Oeuvres. What eventually arrived, five minutes late, was a huge disappointment. Chicken Satay with diminutive cubes of chicken on a stick. Cubes of something coated with a heavy brown glutinous sauce, an undersized breadcrumbed prawn, a parcel of quite pleasant sea food of some kind. Our Chow Mein mains of chicken, featured thin strips of chicken which was indistinguishable from the noodles, whilst the six king prawns in the other main, we're certainly princes, and certainly not kings. Needless to say, we will not be ordering again. Sad after eleven happy years.

Cute place. Very nice service. I was on the way to the beach and got few things. Very good prawn dim sum. Ive also got a bag of prawn crackers for freeVegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian dishes. Many vegetable options.

I have never ordered salt and pepper squid from a Chinese and received chewy calamari rings in return. Disappointment is one way of putting it, rip off is another. Not delivered either, pick up. Would never go back again.

Nice friendly staff the place could do with a refurb along with the menu everything seemed quite greasy and not very hot

I had the crispy chilli beef which was overcooked so it was basically just batter, and our rice was also quite greasy. The beef actually tasted as if it had been refried to heat it up, or as if they are using old oil. We were in a rush so didn't get a chance to get the food made again for us. When we raised our concerns about the food at the end of the meal, we were asked if we had been there before and were quite dismissively told that this is just how they make it. When I suggested they cut the beef a bit thicker or cook it for less time, the waitress agreed, which suggests this isn't the first complaint. Will not be returning.

Staying in Broadstairs on an overnight break and chanced upon this place as we drove into town looking for somewhere to eat out for my husbands birthday. Parking right outside. We liked the Chinese ceiling decor. Friendly welcome. Great service throughout. Had the set meal B for 2 and it was freshly cooked, plentiful and delicious. Honestly the nicest Chinese food ive ever eaten. We were the only people eating in - it was a Tuesday night- but there were plenty of phone orders and online orders going out so it seemed popular. No problem to box up our leftovers. When we come back to broadstairs we will definitely eat here again.

After a day travelling around Sandwich and Deal we are back in Broadstairs and have decided to try this Chinese restaurant and takeaway again ( after an absense of about three years). We had a takeaway of prawn chow mein and pork chow mein plus chips. The noodles were thin but nice, not much pork but apparently enough prawns. Added bonus of free prawn crackers. We would go back but would probably try something different. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the pricing was very good. The restaurant itself looks quaint and cosy but as we had our dog it was a takeaway for us.
