Finding a good fish restaurant is sometimes hard to achieve however we tried this one for the first time and what a find! This restaurant is in the heart of Broadstairs however you feel like this should be in London somewhere. The place has a cosy setting with window tables that can seat about 6 and there are not a lot of tables so making a booking is paramount. I had the calamari to start and it was a dish that just melted in your mouth. My wife had the Hummus with harissa and she rated it like no other. Mains came out and I have to say that my sea bass with Thai basil, coriander and chill was the best I’ve ever had and would be worthy as a dish at the Savoy. The other dish was a cod loin in a wonderful sauce that is certainly a new twist on how cod is served. The menu was not deconstructed which made a nice change and it’s the kind of place we will venture back to, as it’s one of the finest fish restaurants in Kent.

We had a decent time here, the starter of bread and humous were amazing. I found some of my mussels tasted a bit funky. Not sure. I think I'd still go back but would order something else. My boyfriends burger tasted amazing. Service isn't included and you need cash to give it. The staff were super friendly and nice.

It would be very easy, and deserving, to focus on the excellent ribeyed steak I ordered yet an excellent meal must ensure all components rate highly. I must say the green beans (garlic butter) and chips were of that standard or indeed perfection. Those that ordered sea base were equally well pleased. Samworth&Mee is one of the few restaurants that is consistently excellent. Well worth the reasonable pricing. Lovely service.

If this isn't the best family run restaurant in Broadstairs its very close to number 1 owners and staff are brilliant im giving 5 stars and will be going there regularly over the summer and will ask anyone who hasn't tried it do so ASAP

Another great dinner at Samworth & Mee. So pleased Steve and the team are open again for the Summer. The best place to eat fresh fish. I had Halibut with Shrimp sauce, K had Skate wing and capers. Really superb. Look forward to the Black Bream later on. Thank you all.

Firstly the food was delicious. Then ...the most inattentive waiting service I have ever experienced. Wow. Zero engagement between customer and staff. Wine was delivered with no communication. Food delivered with little communication. I saw customers asking for coffee at the kitchen as staff ignored them. Shame as this should be a fantastic fish experience. But I still delicious food.
