Popped in on my own after a brief walk around Broadstairs. Greeted by friendly staff member, who politely saw me to my table.Decor was very drab, with a couple of drawings of 'Finding Nemo' cartoon fish on the wall. One table was littered with take away boxes and cleaning bottles/wipes? Alot of the walls were not even painted or half painted?I ordered Cod Fish Bites & Chips, with a can of Coke.It arrived quite promptly and nice & hot. I was a bit put off by the open squeezy bottle of Tartar Sauce, but dived in to eat.Unfortunately, I found the batter on the fish to be a bit soggy & slimey, not crisp and light. The chips were very small and hard, with sharp edges, and a bit tastless. The whole place looked like it needed a good lick of paint and clean. Spring has just started, so I hope it'll be ready for the Summer. As I said, the gentleman who served me was very polite and friendly, but at £15.00 for my fish & chips and a can of coke, I found this price to be a bit high for the quality of food.

Very overpriced. Least satisfying fish and chips in a while.

We got two small portions of chips, personally thought they were a bit pricey considering but that’s okay. Tasted great and perfect amounts of salt and vinegar.

We chose to eat here after reading good reviews & stopped whilst walking from Ramsgate. We were served quickly & had very good freshly cooked cod & chips, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

What a great service - service is very friendly . - cheesy chips were the best - lovely pies not stodgy at all - very crispy pastry and to top it off its dog friendly and he sells ? and ?- best chippy ever.

Lovely food and staff. Delicious haddock and chips. The chips were really nicely cooked and so moreish. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to offer you service. Would absolutely come back here!

Well as everyone knows fish and chip shops could be very tricky. Mostly greasy spoon with no taste what so ever. When I came in I was very sceptical as I considered myself a bit food snob, but it was really nice surprise. Fish couldn’t be any fresher and oil was not dripping in every bite. If I ever come to visit Broadstairs I will definitely come to see you again. Thank you ??

Excellent food, but unfriendly service. Owner was unhappy about 5 customers not ordering at the same time, but separately?!

Had fish and chips for lunch with a friend down for the day on the coast. Excellent meal, great service, very reasonably priced. Ate indoors but takeaways available (just find a place away from the prying eyes of the local seagulls!).

The food was absolutely delicious. The battered fish wasn't greasy & the chips seemed like they'd been double fried so gorgeous. The staff were polite & helpful.

Was not asked to pay till after. Thought my order was called, I went up to pay instead of the staff checking if it was my order I paid for somebody else’s food and they then called out my order after I paid. instead of refunding me I paid my own food and theirs. and the girl behind the counter proceeded to blame me. asking why I came up. This is why you get customers to pay their order first. not after
