What a lovely little restaurant/tea room. Popped in for a Sunday lunch & dessert. Nice size portions, value for money and the service was excellent. I look forward to going back with some friends soon. Nice little stroll around the nursery after.

Polite helpful service but unfortunately plants, flowers shrubs weren't priced and felt it was all higledepigldy all over the place.

Hidden gem near Northdown park/ Kingsgate. A Great breakfast baguette or sandwich. Here is a garden centre but the Cafe is s real treat \\u0026 you might meet a tame resident Robin who greets you in the outside seating area.

Friendly staff, good food and a nice quiet location. My husband and I went for the first time and had the full English breakfast and poached egg on toast. Both were really good food, not too greasy and the eggs cooked to perfection on gorgeous fresh granary toast. I pre ordered some scones for the next day for an afternoon tea with my parents and given the Jubilee clotted cream shortage they were kind enough to let me take away a couple of small pots to complete the experience. The scenes were divine and made my parents day. Both of the lads there were friendly, approachable and simply lovely. It was a brilliant experience all in all. We spied a nice selection of cakes too so we might have to try them on our next visit!

I think the title says it all. I have eaten at Taddy's several times in the last few months and thoroughly enjoyed everything I've eaten. The food served here is excellent, the chef a Master of cuisine. Apparently the place is booked solid for Sunday Roast Lunches. So book early. This time I had two scrummy poached eggs on a lovely slice of white bloomer toast, with three hash browns cooked to perfection. The pot of tea could have been bigger, I did request a pot for 5 - 7 I like my tea, but they provided a second pot quickly when requested. My friend had never been here before and she enjoyed it too. We were captivated by the crafts on sale. I have already purchased a print and today the 3D cards were adorable. Almost succumbed. Instead purchased a lilac tree in the garden centre out back. The toilet, disabled friendly was nice, if a little scary till I read the label announcing that it had a BIG exit button. Apparently it locks automatically when you enter, you don't have to lock it manually, but of course I didn't bother reading that in my haste to discharge all the tea I'd accrued. Really good for folk with disabilities. Lee and the servers were on point. Seeing to everyone's needs. Remaining courteous and friendly throughout. I love that about Taddy's. It's so welcoming , a home away from home feeling. Of course we'll be back.

After phoning to check opening times and being told close at 15.30. Arrived at 13.30 only to told rudely " we're closed" No apology. Extremely disappointed as were the other people who had just turned up. This is the second time of irregular opening times have affected us, hence phoned to check. Feel very let down and will in future take my business elsewhere.

We had a family reunion party yesterday at Taddys. It was ideal for us as we had varying ages of family plus 3 dogs to accommodate. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Lee went out of his way to ensure everything run smoothly. Fantastic service, food and ambience. Highly recommended. Thank you Lee xxx

Dropped in for a cup of tea and carrot cake. It was very good. The staff were friendly. Plenty of seating, sofas as well if that's what you like. I did see some breakfasts come through and I shall return to try one.
