Great chip shop and great value for money. A large portion of chips is £4 and I challenge a family to eat it. A £4 portion of chips at 'The Star of The Sea' ( yards away) would struggle to satisfy one person. Friendly staff and an extensive menu

We have always used the Fish inn in the past (takeaway) and had very good fish and chips with good portions, we have not been for a while and after our meal tonight will not return, portion sizes are tiny and chips would appear to have been reheated , fish batter was soggy and price not cheap , shame , not sure if owners have changed ?

The food has gone down hill, had a bad meal but put it down to a one off, but ordered again and what turned up was twice a worse than the last time, 1st time fish was well over cooked dry and horrible and the curry rolls were burnt this last time dinner turned up cold and the 2 savaloys were not fit for consumption, dry, cold, and harder than boot leather even my dogs thought they were tough to eat, will not use this shop anymore.

Food was remarkable, fish was sublime.Staff could be abit more chatty. Didn't come across very friendly, but may of been having a d bad day.Importantly food was good, credit where credits due.

Absolute 10 out of 10! The Fish Inn delivered 12 individually wrapped portions of cod and chips to my scrabble tournament and the food was absolutely delicious!!! The battery was crispy and everything was clearly freshly cooked. The lady who delivered the food was charming too and Alfie who responded to my messages was very helpful Will definitely be ordering again!

The only chip shop near the beach that sells everything I love: rock, chips, onion rings, curry sauce and a bread roll.All very enjoyable to sit by the sea with in the evening.Very attractive staff serving too.I hope that this shop never changes cause its perfect.

Where's Salt Bae when you need him? Two portions of fish and chips arrived with not a gram of salt. (I was also asked about vinegar, said "yes", and yet did not get any - but did get spines in the fish). Salting the fish at home did not work very well.
