I came in here for a meal whilst on a holiday on my own and - as someone who eats in Italian restaurants in the UK quite often - I'd put it up there with the best I've been in. The menu had a lot of variety and the food was delicious. Lovely seafood and an outstanding tomato & onion salad - which isn't something that I'd usually be raving about. Would recommend!

I don’t even know where to start for this review as exceptional and extraordinary are not enough to describe my visit at Little Sicilian Restaurant in Broadstairs.I had a very high expectations from this restaurant as my sister did have lunch here before last summer and still talk about it with high regards and awe. Lunch for two, with my sister, on Saturday 3rd February lunchtime, we were greeted by a lovely waitress with a nice table by the window, nicely set, as we start our lunch journey with a basket of bread, and some mixed olives and as it simply as it sounds the olives, a mix between black and white marinated, were full of distinctive flavours to combine even a plain slice of white bread. Then we share the started by two, “Sardine alla Beccafico”, which set the tone for lunch with a beautiful feast for the eyes, 3 lovely sardines butterflied open and battered, served with spiced red onion jam, capers, raisin, pine nut topped with peashooter salad and pink peppercorn mayo as decoration. A very sophisticated dish, beautifully executed empowering every single ingredient with every bite. I would have gone for a second and third portion if it wasn’t time for the main to be served. As a main I ordered a trancio Di Tonno, which it was the pièce of résistance. An exquisite seared tuna steak served on a bed of wilted spinach and roasted halved baby potatoes again topped with some peashooter salad as decoration. The tuna was cooked superbly and as I didn’t have to use the knife to cut as it was tender but yet not dry. Then I understood the excellency, cooking knowledge and the passion of the chef. I was literally in heaven and I was without word as it was the best tuna steak I had in U.K. in 23 years. I was full and I wouldn’t have ordered the dessert but as everything was so tasty I indulged myself in a Tiramisu for pudding and again no disappointment, as the presentation with strawberries, blueberries and mint leaf and gold shards was so beautiful as well as so scrumptious.I don’t normally disturb the chef as I know how busy it could be, but this was a must, It was an honour to meet David the chef along Roberto the owner of the restaurant and thank them for this lifetime culinary experience. It was definitely a privilege to eat at Little Sicilian and surely I will never forget this occasion. I will suggest a visit for to this beautiful venue to everyone visiting Broadstairs as it is definitely ia restaurant second to none.Vegetarian options: Mozzarella fantasia & more

This is our second visit with my girlfriend Daniela. The staff were very attentive with what she could have and had a wide range to choose from. Everything was just as enjoyable, friendly staff, the blonde waitress was super, and the food was lovely. Roberto the owner was very polite and ready to help. We will be back.

Gorgeous meal in this restaurant re-born. Its new menu is impressive -including vegan and veggie options with a bigger more varied menu with some really mouth watering specials (large pasta tubes with meatballs and strips of filet steak in a rich tomato sauce), mixed with a few typical Italian dishes (such as tempura-style very lightly battered calamari with home made mayonnaise, and lasagna). And a much larger and more varied dessert menu. Little Sicilian will be seeing much more of us in 2024!!

What an amazing place! We've been waiting to go there for a while and with a stroke of luck we managed. Must remember to book a table in advance before going. Food, service and location were 10/10. Well done to the owner/chef and the whole staff ??????
