I went to this restaurant for the first time in November for my friends 30th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Altogether a lovely experience. I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Broadstairs.

The service was great. Management/owner were friendly and even brought us a dog water bowl with us even asking. The atmosphere was awesome, quaint and rustic. Would definitely love to have a few more pints there in the future.

Warm cosy pub with some of the best food in the area. Bar service can be pretty slow and hard to get the attention for bar staff when they are chatting to friends. The atmosphere is mixed. One Sunday they had someone singing but not much interaction from the punters.
A beautiful, cosy little pub. All the staff are friendly & welcoming. The food is delicious & nothing was too much trouble for them, they all went above & beyond to cater to our needs. Highly recommend.

We had our self employed Xmas party here at the frigate ,25 fellas , gotta say it was an absolute blast , the staff was amazing , hard working and very professional , not one glitch !! , the food was absolutely lovely and my steak was cooked to perfection , will definitely book this again for next year , thankyou so much Lem and team xxx ps (go for the Baileys cheesecake !! Banging )

Have visited this pub lots of times over the past 6 years or so - but this was the first time we had eaten in the upstairs restaurant. The experience was fantastic - attentive and friendly staff, great food and perfect service. You can tell the staff really care about you having a good time - we did and will defiantly be coming back! Thank you

Having read a review regarding a northern member of staff, we had to check this place out. The lady was amazing, funny, cheerful, up for the banter and attentive. The food was great, the fish pie exceptional, we were too stuffed to squeeze in desert. Well worth a visit and we will be returning
