“A great little beer house. We were somewhat cursed by a bunch of smelly hockey players descending on the joint shortly after we turned up...but not the pubs fault. Would happily recommend”

Lovely warm welcome at the bar, which continued throughout our lunchtime . 3 lovely main course meals inc fish special of the day, chicken bacon shortcrust pie ( deeelush!) & lovely cooked ham eggs and super scrummy chips. Superb fresh food, wonderful old style pub atmos with lovely friendly staff. I was visiting from my home in France & will come back next time for another visit. Highly recommended.
