“A roast at the Chequers is like going to your Nan's for Sunday dinner (assuming your Nan was a good a generous cook). Loads of well cooked veg, roast potatoes and a choice of meats. The beef was at the 'well-done' end of the scale but nice enough.The dessert menu includes proper puddings, including steamed syrup sponge which I had served to me in a small lake of custard; marvellous!”

“The ferry was for the family 2 dogs and car took about30 minutes plenty of room for all lifts to top deck and garage/car parking.Food looked fresh and varied.Staff great plenty of help ?”
