Ate at Il Rustico last night and was pleasantly surprised by the good food and warm welcome. We did not have to wait too long for our food after ordering and the food was freshly cooked to order. the price for 4 people was very reasonable as we had 3 courses. We will definitely go there for my special birthday.

The most delicious tasty meal! We stopped in after our day exploring the castle and cliffs in Dover. Wonderful wait staff and excellent proportions. The funghi ai Quattro was the best and I could have made a meal out of that alone. The linguini carbonara was amazing as well as the rest of our meal...chicken Parmigiano, the Rigatoni pasta, and Marchareta pizza! Wish I had time to visit again this trip!

Food was really good. We ordered different dishes and everyone was happy. From lasagna to pasta frutti di mare. We were a big table with many children and everything went great. Good prices for this excellent food.

Il Rustico really exceeded our expectations.The food was delicious and freshly prepared.Staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived late on a Sunday evening. We had lasagne and rigatoni with vegetables, both of which were excellent. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and lasagne was crispy and flavorful. We will definitely come back next time we come to Dover.

Over the years, we have visited this restaurant many times after a hard day sailing. Reliable good quality food and wine. Never had a food allergy issue despite there being shellfish also on the menu. Good service. Great tiramisu.

That was nice experience at the restaurant... The chef was very nice in hospitality and he cooks delicious Italian food... They serve fine italian wine... I have ordered homemade lasagna and serlion Steak which is actually different name on the menu... I had lasagna before but this was different and delicious... Really recommended bye me

We needed an evening meal and found Il Rustico by chance. It was all we could wish for and more. Not only was the food excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive. My friend left his phone in the restaurant and as he left the hotel to recover it a member of staff was bringing it to him. Over and above in their kindness. So wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for everything.

We had a lovely lunch here on our way to Dover Castle. Highly recommended place! Mussels were super fresh and the carbonara reminded me of my mother’s cooking. Service was very good as well.

Visited Saturday evening after booking mid week and glad we did as people who hadn't booked was getting turned away as it was fully booked. Pizzas and swordfish very tasty, service was friendly and very reasonably priced. Will be back:))
