Went and got some cod and chips this evening from my local chippy.First time trying since new owners got it home It looked good and I started to eat the fish and there was human hair I won't be going back there ever again it's a shame as I never had anything like that with previous owners.

The food was nice, staff couldn't seem to get organised.People waiting for ages for the simplest of orders, no hair nets and the lad on the till didn't wash his hands once between grabbing food and taking money from people...Not as good as it used to be at all.

I had the chicken fillet burger which was nice but would have been a little better if it was a slightly thicker/juicier but was as I said, it was nice with all the salad and a slice of cheese. The chips were great however, they were thick and chunky and cooked perfectly.All in all it was a great meal.Parking: There's about 5 or 6 dedicated parking spaces for this takeaway which proved perfect for our long van.

First time going since new owners took over, was previously very good. Will not go back again.Oversold chip when asking about their portion sizes meaning we wasted money. Brought Fish for 3 adults, fish smelt very strong and we were all ill by the next day, even the cat turned her nose up to the fish. Curry sauce was vile. It has taken 4 days for the fish smell to leave the car.Fish must have been going off, shame because the chips were really nice.

Thought we would give these guys a go as they're local and easy. Wish we hadn't, such a shame.Overcooked soggy greasey fish. The fish was like mash ?My daughter has actually been sick since eating just a bit of her lunch and the wife is also now ill.The fish cant have been very fresh and must have been sitting around for hours.It's worth driving down to castle street to get a proper take away F&C.
