We visited a few times over this weekend, as we were staying at an Airbnb nearby. We had a great time. Anna and the team looked after us very well, so much so we went back one more time before heading home.We had two dinners and a Sunday roast over the 4 days and they were all lovely. I personally had the sirloin steak and chips, then chicken supreme with mushroom and the Pork Belly Sunday roast. All were yummy and consistently good, we had 3 courses on two of the visits, not because we were that hungry, but because the staff are lovely and food so great.We also loved the location on St Margaret’s bay, wonderful views even when the weather is miserable.Dog friendly in the bar side.

We had a meal at The Coastguard last night, sat next to the lovely fire. It was 2 for 1 steak night, we had 2 filet steaks and a ribeye, delicious. A cheeseboard and a moose made excellent deserts. There are good beers and wine, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Loved it here, was in a big group so we were seated in the upstairs room gorgeous view, just a bit cold, my favourite part is definitely the service and the accommodation to one of my autistic family members. Would one hundred percent recommend this place, amazing food service an vibes!Parking: Amazing parking, motorhomes allowed, you are also allowed to use the wifi in the restaurant that will reach the car park!

This was our first visit and we arrived early Friday afternoon in our campervan for a quick beer and to book a table for 4 people later that evening. Anna who waited on us was a joy, she was very professional, pleasant and efficient, although it appeared that she was running everything alone?! However, we returned at 7pm to a full restaurant and much to our suprise Anna was still alone! (Apart from the chef of course who cooked our amazing steaks). Anna was tending the bar one minute then taking food orders from the tables, serving the food, clearing tables and taking payment all with a jolly smile and a kind word and thats only what we could see from our table! I guess there was more for her to do out of our sight?.This lady is a real credit to your business and I dont doubt would be snapped up by anyone in hospitality. It was a great evening but as 4 stranger's to the place we were surprised at the lack of staff and concerned at the pressure this lady was under. We will however return as Anna is at the top of her game and made our visit pleasant and memorable.

My first time visiting today and it was fantastic.There were two members of staff on the floor, and despite being absolutely flat out, they were so friendly and helpful.Such a great atmosphere and the food was superb (great vegan options).Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Speak to the staff for advice with vegan options. The staff were so helpful and accommodating.
It's worth braving the steep winding road down to the bay to find this lovely restaurant pub.The views are breathtaking, you have the cliffs on either side, and you can gaze across the channel to see France whilst you enjoy your meal.There are so many delicious options on offer that it's hard to decide what to order.There's ample parking, seating inside and out, and they are dog friendly.
