My Partner and I ordered a Chicken Madras & a Vegetable Madras. As my partner prepared her meal, the Vegetable Madras, she was appalled to receive a dish with a quarter of a potato swimming in a bizarre red curry sauce. There was some finely diced vegetables and a suspicious wrinkly broad bean which she could have “cracked her teeth on”. My partner was dissatisfied with the quality of the fodder. She decided to phone the Spice to see if they could replace the “inedible dish”. We were happy to return the ‘curry’ dish. She was met by an unpleasant individual who shouted at her and became “hysterical” during the conversation. The Chicken Madras consisted of some chicken swimming in a bizarre red curry sauce. That was it. We will not be using the Spice ever again. Disappointed!!!

The curry was too runny, chips were greasy, poppadoms were dry and there was a hair in my food. Just Eat wasn’t interested in resolving this, and then deleted my review from their site.

Got a take away a couple of days ago and the food was fantastic freshly cooked and piping hot. It tasted delicious and would highly recommend to anyone wanting authentic Indian and Nepalese food.

Just had the 4th meal from the spice, whilst visiting my mother down here in dover. Very nice food. The food is spicy, compared to the other places we have tried in dover which is great. Most other places seem very bland in my opinion. Delivery was on time as has been the case with previous orders. Until next time!

Had a take away last night with my husband I ordered a karahi gosth at £7.50 ...they whole meal was £34 had starter which was okish when I dish up my meal it was lacking in meat and when I rung today to complain and ask for a replacement the man flatly refused and basically called me a liar .plus the meat was chewy also..won't use them again.digusting customer service and very rude ...don't bother wasting your money ..
