Homely pub, good food and offers overnight parking for motorhomes that eat at the pub. Best to call in advance as the carpark can't accommodate too many van'

If you’re looking for a lovely, traditional English pub, look no further! Accessible by footpath, for the walkers. Regular live music/jazz nights serve as a highlight. Highly recommended!

We hadden een mooie avond in de George Inn. Heerlijk gegeten, onder het genot van mooie jazzmuziek. Lieve groet van Hans en Janneke voor Michel!

Staying nearby my wife and I wanted some dinner and the hotel recommendations included this pub so we gave it a go and wow the food was to die for!!!, I had the venison pie, my wife the salmon and we both were so impressed with the quality and size of the portions. The landlord was welcoming and friendly and if we are back in the area we will be coming back

Beautiful pub with very attentive and friendly staff, who really took care of us. Having walked there, the wild bore and 4 bird pies were also the best thing ever

Had a great meal at the George inn after a walk with our group . Landlord Michael and his wife ( I believe) offered a pleasant service. Prices are not the cheapest but the food was excellent. The chef truly knows his stuff . Had the venison and it was excellent.

Fantastic roast dinner, Four thick slices of beef and a beautiful selection of fresh vegetables. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is a bit dark inside, but that is a personal thing.

The food was superb I had the sir lion for Sunday lunch and had a delicious apple pie. The food was super good and the most was very friendly and kind. It was the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had. And the Apple pie was home made so it was super tasty. As I was in holiday in Kent we couldn’t find a most wonderful place to have a lovely lunch. They are dog friendly so it’s great as finding places where dogs are allowed when on holiday can be hard. So this is a great place.
