Wasn't wot was expected.. room was dirty shower didn't work properly kept going hot and cold .. and made a noise as if was going to fall down .. food wasn't great and was over priced .. ordered from menu and wasn't told had to pay extra for chips and mushrooms with the steak that was £20 on its own so £64 for 2 meals and 1 medium wine .. no phone service and Internet kept going down .. sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone

Haven't stayed here. But if its still owned by the guy on four in a bed you couldn't pay me to stay. He is a vile, obnoxious, arrogant little man. It would also seem they rip people off when it comes to the refundable deposit. This guy does not deserve customers.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. All the rooms have different themes. Ours had a four poster bed, but there are others with hot tubs and quirky decor. Good restaurant and helpful staff. Bit off the beaten track, but recommended all the same.

This place is wonderful! A gem for sure. Hats off to the staff and owners. Everyone who comes to London should be a must go to! Old world!

This was our first visit as a treat for our 21st wedding anniversary. I had high expectations and wasn't disappointed. We stayed in the Lanson Black room, which was well equipped, and everything that it said it was on the Who'd A Thought Web site. The whole experience for start to finish was excellent and we couldn't fault it! We'll definitely be staying again.Rooms: We had the Lanson Black room, and we both loved it. It was everything it was supposed to be and more. Really comfy bed, cuddle sofa, sky TV with massive tv, huge spa bath. The room was well prepared with complimentary champagne as we booked direct.Food & drinks: We had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and the food was amazing! The staff were really friendly, polite, and attentive without being obtrusive. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Great place to stay and the staff and food were fantastic ?

Let's start with the best. Food was really good. Seafood linguine and lobster.Location mmm if you want to hide is excellent. Rooms with private off street entrance and presume the room size and interior depends how much you have paid. Room number 2 requires outside light fixing, hardly seeing door lock in the evenings. The worst is wi-fi regularly failing and the sky was not working . Assume more expensive rooms have more perksFood & drinks: Superb

The menu on the Web site is different from the one in the restaurant. The welcome was pleasant as was the waitress but only one for all the tables. Starters : The carrot and ginger soup was overpowered by the ginger and too much salt. The salt and pepper squid was over cooked.Main: The half Lobster was the only one I've ever seen with no claws and so small it should not have been caught. The filet steak was cooked to perfection as were the chips.Dessert: the panna cotta had a topping of strawberries in place of the advertised forest berries and honeycombs chosen wine and coffees were good.Th compensate for the disappointment the dessert and coffees were removed from the bill. The people at the next table voiced their disappointment too and they had come from London. This used to be one of my favourite places to dine, sadly much needs to be done to bring it back to their previous high standard.Food & drinks: As above
