Nice pub for a drink or quick meal. Friendly service and atmosphere. Food is typical pub fare but tasty and decent portion size. Warning, the chips are huge! :0)

Called for lunch and decided on the small plates. I chose the Jumbo Fish Fingers… not what I got. Received 2 really small fish fingers (certainly not jumbo) and when I asked the guy about the size, he just shrugged his shoulders… not really a good attitude.Will looking into trades description as this was definitely not as advertised on the menu.Other staff were great.

Could be a really nice traditional pub as there is no competion since the george went into decline, but needs a good cobweb sweep, especially ladies toilets, lovely young lady serving and stocking up much needed fireplace for cosiness, but needs spring clean and bit of care brought back

Amazing staff, amazing food. We went there today. The Roast was lovely. Beef pie? out of this world and the chips are very good too. The lady server was great. Would highly recommend.

As a local of the village popped in for a couple of pints with my dog and watched the charity shield final. Lovely welcoming staff and chatted with some of the other friendly customers. Highly recommend.
