“Came on a February Sunday afternoon for my son's birthday, his choice. Was very quiet when we rocked up but soon started to fill up after 2pm. Pleasantly surprised! After entering the unassuming door, shown to some tables at the rear and given the menu. Good choice of Tex Mex style food, decide to share the fish/seafood platter with my son, and it was very well cooked, lovely calamari and prawns in batter as well as Whitebait; portions could have been a bit bigger but at least had room for mains! Had a burger (forgot which one but was great), son picked the fajitas and thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter was a bit fussy (it wasn't her choice after all!) and didn't want a main, but the waitress was great and after the youngest decided she was still hungry, getting some chicken wings was not any bother. Fab service! Happy to come to Saloon Bar & Grill if we're in Herne Bay again (only provisio being go early to find parking nearby!).”
