Ordered an Amstel, tasted like washing up liquid, 2 other people tried the beer and agreed but bartender refused to give me a refund or exchange for another beer. Bartender did say that the management have said that they can’t exchange or refund because people have obviously been bringing it back. This happens a week before and I though it would be sorted by now but obviously not.

Went today(28th) I except no food but today no beerWhat are the brewery thinking that on a bank holiday weekend to run out of all beersAlso the pub claiming that they can't take cards only cashTrust me stay away if you want a good experienceIt's a punch pub what a joke

This used to be a lovely pub. Not friendly,not warm or welcoming, slowest service ever. Came to meet up with friends . Loud music playing ,people playing pool screaming at the top of their voices. A table of 6 people near us could not stand the noise anymore. It got so bad they got up and left !!!! Soon after, the noisy group left, so we kindly asked if the music could be turned down . My friend wears a hearing aid, and it was difficult for him to hear our conversation. She did turn it down, not before making a rude comment . I would NOT recommend this place.

I'd actually give it 3 & a half stars given the option. They're missing a trick here. It's a great looking pub on the outside, and it gives the air of great expectations as to what's on the inside. However, the inside is a little rough around the edges. Do they really want a pool table inside? Do they need a fruit machine? I feel they're missing an opportunity. It has so much potential to be a fantastic country pub if they went upmarket.
