Always good food in here, was my go to when I lived in Hythe as was 2 minutes walk away. Now I drive to it from Ashford.Chips are always fresh and the batter always crispy. Perfect.Parking: Parking is on the road out front. If chippy is busy then so will be the traffic past it.

Got some lunch here. The price was OK, but the portion size of a medium cod was more like a small. But tasted nice. There used to be a restaurant next door but has not been used for some time. It looks like a junk room with all kinds of things piled in there. There were 2 people that took my order and then just sat there in quite a while on their phones. No chit chat, no smiles. But like I said, the food was nice. Oh, and there is no delivery. It's a shame I would have used it a bit more. If you want a big lunch with a smaller price I would say get the small fish and a kids battery sausage meal deal as it comes with chips the sausage and a drink the sausage alone is £2.20 and the meal deal is £.4.50 more then enough.

5pm on a Saturday, and there was a small queue. Ordered straightaway and given a collection number, but I only had to wait 5 minutes. Got home and thoroughly enjoyed my small cod and chips.

Chips were warm and definitely not freshly cooked. Alot of spiky bits. Guess the time to get the best is when there are people queueing to be served as I have previously.
