We were staying in a hotel close by and thought we would pop out to try lunch with our toddler. He has be quite fussy and only likes pasta and after reading reviews thought we would try this place. We turned up at 11.55am and the place opened at 12pm. We asked for a table for 3 and were told the place was fully booked, though it was completely empty at that time. I asked if they could do a takeaway pasta for my son and was told they don’t do pasta. I was extremely disappointed and very surprised as I had never been turned away from an empty restaurant and been told that they could not do takeaway pasta. Clearly a welcoming place for the locals but be warned if you’re from elsewhere.

We had a lovely afternoon tea. The food was delicious and there was more than enough of it. The service was friendly and attentive. Fantastic value. Hope to come back soon.

We went to Lympne Bistro for a roast dinner today. The food was amazing and I can honestly say it was the best roast I have ever eaten. I couldn’t fault it and I am fussy when eating a roast dinner out as it’s never as lovely as a home cooked one. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and there was a real variety. The Yorkshire puddings we’re home made and the meat melted in the mouth. Home made gravy was perfection. Great value for money at only £14.00. Highly recommend. Home made desserts for pudding were amazing too. I had the Frangipane Tart and it was heavenly. Lovely service from the young lad who served us. A nice touch from the Chef to make sure that everyone enjoyed their food too.

We found this little gem of a restaurant a few year's ago whilst on a dog walk around Port Lympne zoo. It is nestled next to Lymnpe Castle and you might not realise it is there. Wow what a find, we have always been impressed bythe lovely staff and especially Linda who works front of house and runs it very well. We had the pleasure of meeting the head chef Richard today, he was letting us know about the local produce and what he had planned for the next few months regarding the menu, sounds fabulous. The food here is always fresh (NOT FROZEN) and arrives at your table piping hot, a wide variety of dishes to suit all palate's. If you haven't visted this amazing restaurant you will be in for a very pleasant surprise when you do:) i had the roast pork hubby had seabream and daughter had Nutroast. Oh i forgot to mention desserts OMG BLOODY AMAZING!!!!!!!

It’s safe to say the bistro has become one of my favourite restaurants to have a freshly prepared Sunday Roast, it’s so hard to find somewhere good for a traditional hot Sunday roast however they never fail to impress! Front of house team where friendly and very attentive especially Linda who is brilliant!! The chef is great, and explained to us today about the fresh produce the restaurant uses. Overall an amazing experience as always!!! Thankyou !

Wow, what a gem of a place! Came here today for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. My friend and I chose the corn and courgette fritters with Haloumi and a side order of fries. This place oozed ambience and style and the menu was fairly priced. If I was to find something to criticize it would be that the outside dining needs some snazzy umbrella's to shield from the best/worst of the English weather. We would have loved to have dined outside in the pretty courtyard but we were forced inside by a passing shower. This was just a little niggle and wouldn't stop us from returning.
