The work done during lock down has made this pub series of glass screened areas. It's been done well as it retains its original character. Staff were friendly and quick. Beer was well kept and the menu was interesting with eclectic elements.

Have visited several times in the last few weeks. Staff are very friendly & knowledgeable on allergies & coeliac (gf) which is very reassuring, with no repercussions (if you are coeliac you will know). Varied menu and we have had most of the lunch & dinner specials, delicious and good sized portions, dog friendly and a welcoming warm atmosphere...we will be regulars!Dietary restrictions: Staff knowledge on dietary restrictions is very good and understanding, will check with the kitchen to clarify

Staff ignore you at an empty bar, very poor service. Charged £7 pint for draught lager. Won’t be going back.

Really enjoyed our visit to this pub with our dog. Really dog friendly. Staff are friendly. You can just sit and enjoy, they don't rush you to have another drink. We would definitely recommend and would go back there if we go back to Hythe.

A returning customer to the White Hart and after an exceptionally good Sunday roast I felt compelled to write a review.I had the mixed meat roast and it was fantastic, all meats cooked very well, a carrot purée which was velvety smooth and crackling that was simply perfect.Highly recommend the food/service and look forward to returning again, Massive thanks to Ben and his team for welcoming my family/dogs in the bar area at short notice

Service and atmosphere are always good. We normally have a Sunday dinner roast ...sometimes items were missing on the plate....lol..

Great spot on the High Street and due to the warm weather was able to select a table in the back courtyard. Chose our dishes from the lunchtime saver menu and we were all pleased with our choices. Three of us had the sausages with onion gravy, fried Kale and mash with the fourth selecting the pasta. We all agreed it was very tasty and adequate portion sizes. Friendly staff too so would return without question.

Great welcome. Lovely friendly staff. Very helpful service. I had a hearty steak and mushroom stroganoff with pasta ribbon and my friend had one of their woodstove Diablo pizza. We very much enjoyed the meal. The coffee was superb. All in all a pleasant surprise.

Great looking pub. Menu small but that’s ok. Service if that’s what you call it, friendly, but the cutlery was plonked down on the table on a tray “to help yourself” Wine choice very limited and that was also plonked down on the table with 2 glasses to help yourself. I think it was about £28 and was really just cheap plonk! We had flatbread and fried zucchini to start as not much choice - very average. I had Fish Pie, which looked amazing, but it was mainly cheesy mash, I had 2 prawns and 3 small pieces of I think smoked haddock. Very expensive mashed potato! My partner had the fish and chips which was completely well done and slightly burnt. We didn’t complain as we thought it a waist of time, seeing the attitude of the staff, and we didn’t want to spoil our evening. Hence this review! Sadly I will not return. It’s shame as it’s local and in the past we have had great meals.
