I popped in for some coffee and cake on my way to work. First time but I felt very welcome. Lovely staff, polite and welcoming. Latte was lovely, full of flavour. I will be coming back again!

Visited today with friends. We had coffees then ordered some food. I ordered a sausage bap but when my food arrived it was a bacon bap. When I questioned it the man who owns it who brought my order said well that's what you ordered. When I said I hadn't he wasn't going to change his reply, so I ate the bacon bap. This happened once before and it turned out he had brought me the wrong order. Does it not occur to him that the person who took the order or the one who cooked it could make a mistake? Other than that, the food there is good. I go there quite often, just don't question your order!

Yes, they have cakes and all are baked in house. We had the Coffee Walnut cake with our pot of tea and cappuccino. Dense and delicious, not too sweet. And my pot of tea arrived with a knit cosy … the first one I’ve seen in my four weeks here in Kent! Stop in and sit a while here, you will enjoy it!

We discovered Truly a year or so ago during our house search. Now we live here we try to go most Fridays. It's owned and run by a husband and wife team who are just brilliant. They have a lovely team of staff too. The service is unbeatable, the food is not only delicious but very reasonable priced. Even if they are busy you never have to wait long. The tea is great... served in pots with cosies. Love it there!!! And always recommend it to friends and family.

Recommended by my godmother who lives in the area. We had travelled down to see her from Luton. Really loved the scones and cakes. The scones were so big they almost couldn't fit in the boxes ?! Had an opportunity to speak the owners who were very nice and friendly. I had good banter with them even when it was closing time and they were packing up to go home. Next time I go to visit my godmother I will visit them again??. Nice people tasty food, truly scrumptious ?.

The breakfast was delicious, excellent value and set us up for our walk to Folkstone. We will definitely be returning. The coffee was good, the staff friendly and the venue spotless, love the decor in the loo.

We went here for lunch and had a lovely meal. The meals (5) arrived all together and we even got a bowl of water for the dog. Outdoor seating is available and covered outdoor seating is also there for when the weather is more changeable, dogs are welcomed and can sit outside. Table service is prompt, friendly and polite and as a bonus the prices are all very reasonable too! Lovely place for food and recommend stopping here. Thanks to the team at Truly scrumptious!

Wow oh wow such a wonderful place. From the bourbon with my pot of tea, the savory food cooked to perfection, the warm brownie, amazing prices... So welcoming. So clean! Loved the little basket of toys and books and the tiny cushions for the highchairs. Could this be my favourite cafe ever? Wish I lived here so I could be a regular but will definitely come every time I visit family in the area.
Quick and excellent service, plenty of space inside and outside, absolutely delicious classic breakfasts and fantastic value for money. Definitely caters for couples, families and those who like a quite coffee.

Went for lunch with my son and his family. Food was as per the name scrumptious. The grandkids loved it and cleared their plates. Marvellous place to go for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. We never tried them, but the scones and cakes looked absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and service excellent. Will definitely go again when next in Hythe.
