Nice spot on a sunny day right near the canal in a quiet part of Hythe. There's always an interesting food option available during the weekends. And the range of local craft beers and ciders available within what is essentially a barn with seating in and out makes for a quirky venue. Very dog friendly.

Great little friendly 'watering hole' by the canal. Ideal to drop by after a walk from Hythe. Very basic in most ways but who cares. No hesitation in recommending for walkers and cyclists.

Great place to go for a real beer and take your dog, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Love sitting outside and you get free biscuits for the dogs.Food is okay but rather expensive.

This was recommended by a neighbour so we gave it a go. We were a bit thrown by fact that there are two businesses in there, one selling drinks and the other the food, one takes Amex (food) the other doesn't. Coffee was fine and the toasties and soup did the job OK. We had to move nearer the fire as it was a tad cold, and that was before the current cold snap. Will definitely come back.
Very cute and cozy little find. It’s even better when you take the long walk from Folkestone to Hythe and then along the canal - so pretty! The food isn’t mind-blowing but it’s made with lots of love and attention. Their chips with cheese are particularly delicious. I love that they have a great selection of craft beers too.For me the atmosphere, friendlyness and general decor make this place totally worthwhile to visit. My only suggestion would be to introduce perhaps a few more pub classic dishes and ideally more veggie ones!Oh and it’s dog-friendly too!Vegetarian options: Not much but 1 or 2

Nice walk along the canal path brings you to this little gem of a pub/diner. The inside has a nice atmosphere with a welcoming log fire. The menu changes daily.Dogs are welcome, and little pots of treats are available for them. There is plenty of seating outside, but on a cold day, it's inside by the fire for me with a glass of mulled cider.

What a great little place this is. There is a lovely atmosphere, with dog walkers, their dogs, cyclists, walkers, and people stopping just for coffee. The staff are always happy, and the coffeeband food is brilliant. Great value for money, too. If you're passing, pop in, you won't be disappointed.

Myself and a friend came for one of your wreath making evenings and u can honestly say it was so lovely! The beautiful Christmassy set up got us right in the mood and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to do this again in 2024!
Great choice of beers, ales and excellent food.
A wonderful asset to the community!
