Superb local curry house- this is the pick of all the local curry houses. A more varied menu and good quality ingredients. Service is always friendly and professional. Reasonable prices too especially for beer.

We dined here with our daughter and partner and the food was nothing short of wonderful. My wife pronounced the chicken handy fragrant and excellent and I had a very hot and flavoursome lamb vindaloo. The side dishes we had with the main meal - saag panir and aloo ghobi - were also very good as was the rice and naan. Others in our party explored the vegetarian dishes and pronounced those very good too. Service was spot-on even though the restaurant was very busy. Can't wait to return.

What an amazing find! We were a group of 13 travelling to France with a stop over in Hythe. I had a look for a good Indian restaurant and stumbled upon this. I wasn’t sure they would accept my booking for such a large group but quite the opposite they were delighted to welcome us. The service was nothing short of brilliant but the food. OMG the food! I’ve been to many many Indian restaurants and this is up there with my favourites. The taste was simply out of this world. Everything cooked to perfection and timed so we all got served together. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’re in the area you have to pay a visit and sample the best Indian food in the area.

Fab restaurant! Got talking to the manager who was very friendly all about India. He was able to recommend a good vegan meal for us and it was the best curry we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place!Vegetarian options: Said we were vegan and the manager was able to instantly recommend dishes for us!

We had an amazing meal here. It was an East Indian/Bengal night. The food was delicious. Wonderful selection of fish and meat dishes. The staff are brilliant, attentive and friendly. Looking forward to our next meal there.
I only write reviews when placed really excel and exceed expectations. We are local but hadn't ventured to Hythe for a curry in a long time, we had tended to go ashford way . I'm so glad we chose the vinodhon . The service was exceptional from all the staff , we had a good chat with Bala who was very informative and happy to tell us about the dishes on the menu , helping us to make excellent choices . The clean plates spoke volumes...I have to say it was the best Indian meal we have ever had. The flavours were just amazing , so huge compliments to the very talented chef . We will definitely be back soon , we were so impressed. We had a very enjoyable evening. Nice to see a restaurant so busy on a Friday night amd still walk ins up to 10pm. Thank you vinodhon ,see you again soon . & thanks for the advice on naan bread making Bala ,we will report back !

We ate in at the restaurant this evening and the waiters were all very rude. Two of the young waiters were laughing at us amongst themselves when we were eating, we were the only people there so it was obvious… not attentive, not asking if we wanted more drinks, curry was average. Definitely used to be Better here. We finished our meal and we asked for dessert menu and they basically said don’t order anything cause it’s bad. I asked if I could have an espresso and the waiter didn’t even seem to know what that was, he then left us not asking if we wanted the bill or even more drinks. I suggest the owner teaches these young waiters some manors! The last thing someone wants is to feel uncomfortable in a restaurant!

What an experience. Food delicious, staff friendly, atmosphere chilled. Just what we needed after a long day travelling. Everything was cooked to perfection, although everything has a tiny kick to it, which we didn't mind. Will be coming again next week for their banquet night.
