“This is a real oddity. Looks like a rather dishevelled house (let alone old house) on the outside and the inside is not dissimilar.It's almost like the pub was abandoned 50 years and then restarted recently without any decorating or modernisation. This is not a criticism at all.A great range of cask ales on offer, four or five and I plumped for a couple Hopheads. The pub has a micropub vibe about it but in truth, micropubs have an Old House vibe about them.Worth seeking out as you're unlikely to stumble across it.”
