what an experience, seating removed for Covid so take a way only, pastry base on pie seemed a little undercooked on one but not the other even though they were on the same tray out of the oven the filling was excellent, liquor had a savoury taste to it but was nice, mash had a good taste as well. over all the p&m was good, prices were the going rate for p&m shops but eating it with plastic spoon and fork out of a Chinese foil take a way container and liquor in a tub in the car park is something I have never done before, a fair attempt at traditional p&m if not an unusual one.

Having been in most of Londons pie and mash shops, Manzes, Cookes, Goddards, Clarkes in Exmouth Market when it was there, Kellys and so on. We were sceptical of the authenticity of the food on Sunday lunch but were really happy. No marble tables to sit at, but we took our food with us and it really was up there with the best. Liquor was top and they even sold chili vinegar. Good value too. We will be back. Thank you

Ordered for a collection. Pie & mash, cod, chips and sausages. Absolutely beautiful the whole lot. Really generous portions. Much better than the chip shop not far from there. Would happily use again and would recommend

Leysdown has a rather large sea wall , if you walk down the main strip you’ll find it located right at the very end.If you stand on the wall and jump face first onto the concrete slab below ( when tide is out ) you could potentially put yourself in a coma.Once in the hospital due to being in comatose state the NHS will tube feed you. This will work out cheaper and more tasty than the absolute slop they call pie and mash

Rock & chips, couldn't b more happy with the food, lovely friendly staff 10/10
We had pie and mash last night from Paul’s and it was so nice! I’m here for a few days from Cornwall so it is a long awaited treat. Had to go back tonight for good old cod and chips and they were lovely too.

Stay in leysdown with my partner and 2 kids, we pooped along to pauls for some food the staff was friendly and patient while I was deciding what I wanted bit of a fussy eater, the pies were amazing the liquor was perfect, the kids enjoyed their Savaloy and chips and my partner had large cod and chips the fish was massive and fresh would deffo recommend 5*
