My autistic child, was shouted at by an elderly lady wearing a Mickey Mouse bag, yes you read that right, for moving chairs. I moved him to another table, This of course triggered a meltdown, tears, anxiety and fear for my 10 year old - who does not cope with confrontation at all. Tamara, was an absolute star, talking to my son for ages, making sure he was calm, going so far as to give him a hug and reassure him that his uniqueness only made him more special! The manager at the store working today approached me after the event and asked me to never feel like I have to move again. Thank you to you both for your understanding and patience. It meant a lot to both to me and my son.”
