We went here yesterday for my daughter's birthday. Our booking was 5.15pm and being Easter Sunday I understand they would be busy. We started to order off the Easter menu to be told they were out of chicken goujons which affecting my daughter meal and the chicken stack. We were fine with this though and changed the order. We ate our starters, breaded mushrooms were lovely. After 40mins from when we ordered, they then came to tell us that my dad's order had just ran out. (Fish and chips). He went to change this and wanted sirloin steak also ran out. So he went for the surf, bird and turf. He asked for medium well and when it came it was medium rare. We told them and they took it back to cook further only to bring it out still barely medium. Not impressed. The waitresses were great and no complaints there but overall a disappointing experience

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Absolutely dreadful we asked for the ultimate grill with the steak medium to well done we got the food back either the steak burnt on both surfaces and pink in the middle of the steak, the food taste dreadful so we couldn’t eat it and when we moaned about the food the younger waitress agreed that is was very pink and didn’t even try to offer compensation and on top of that didn’t even bring our change back which may I add was over a £5, will never be returning to a harvester again!

Update March 2024Prices have gone up again, normal breakfast and unlimited tea now over £10 also it is not possible now to substitute chips for hash browns.Update December 2023Had a decent breakfast, with poached eggs cooked to perfection. Service was quick and friendly.Update May 2023WEB booking times for breakfast are not the same as the restaurant, 11:45 latest for breakfast on the Web, 11:30 in restaurant.Good service from staff, meal good quality and we'll presented, could have been warmer though.Update February 2023Had to remove a star.Greeting staff not familiar with Harvester advertised meal times, we had to prove we were correct, a simple sorry would have been nice.Breakfast was OK but could have been warmer. Not sure why they have hazard tape around some table feet.Update late November 2022,Evening meal, just after finishing our main course we were asked to move tables to make way for a group of 12, had to remove 1 star for this. Food and service was fine.Update 10/11/2022As usual a great quality breakfast and fantastic service. Plus a 25% off voucher.Normally a great place for a late breakfast/brunch.
