I bought food from there 2 days ago and there were chicken feathers in the food, or I don't know, they were huge, I was already sick to my stomach when I saw them.

It was quiet for a Saturday lunch which was surprising as this is a fantastic gastro pub. Food was delicious and elegantly presented, the service was great. Had a lovely time and will definitely be going back.

Came last minuite, found these guys on Google as we were in the area and reviews looked great. Safe to say we were not disappointed! Service was exceptional, great recommendations, Mixed seafood paella was stunning and so were the mix and match sharer plates!! We will be coming back and looking forward to it!

This was a 2nd visit to Percival's Rest. My elderly Mum and I wanted a quiet and peaceful lunch and that is exactly what we managed to find here. The food is of such good quality and so well presented. There is no rush to finish quickly or between courses. The staff are so friendly and will always chat. I certainly recommend to others - my experience has been lunchtimes - but I would have no hesitattion in booking for an evening. Thank you!!

We visited for a late lunch on a very wet and windy July Saturday. It was very quiet and only two other couples in the restaurant. Service was good as you'd expect on a quiet afternoon but was always with a cheery smile which was nice. We were well looked after and the meal was excellent. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. I've paid less for a mwal for two, it wasn't particularly cheap but we felt it was worth it plus everywhere you go is much more expensive than it's ever been do probably par for the coarse. We'd never been here before, we never knew it was there, and we'll definitely go back, we certainly wouldn't hesitate to eat there again in the future

I will not enjoy writing this but needs must. We arrived to a very quiet pub and bar two other tables occupied. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We ordered our food all main courses and that took 45 mins to be provided. We asked twice for water it just became very clear why this lovely pub was empty on a Thursday lunchtime. I was looking forward to my burger but sadly it was overcooked and dry, my colleagues sausages and mash the same. It not difficult to prepare and cook what we asked for but there needs to be a more professional approach to both catering and service. With a extremely well known and popular pub chain just opened nearby this establishment will not survive in its present state and it will be a great shame as it has all the necessary requirements to be very successful.
