Ruby the Duty manager was a perfect host.Only adverse comment was a group of OAP guys talked too loud in a corner; at 0800, it was a bit much

So had a days worth of work nearby, travelled from London and working till noon had me thinking one thing only, nice big breakfast to have me going for the day. So after a brief look at local cafe reviews i decided to give this one a go. Seemed cosy, not too crowded cafe with awful breakfast? 1 small toast sliced in half, 2 undercooked top and overcooked bottom eggs,2 bin worth sausages,half dozen of beans in a tiny sauce pot and a handful of microwaved mushrooms ( absolutely disgusting ? ),2 thick bacon slices with 2 hash browns and a can of coke was the only things worth some of that £15 i was charged. oh and of course I was asked to pay before having my so long waited breakfast. Got me feeling sick for the rest of the day, having runs and not really being able to eat anything, absolutely disgusted ?….. staff was nice..

An excellent choice [jacket potato with chilli con carne, a bowl of coleslaw, and an Americano with milk on the side] of lunch on a cold December day, which kept me warm as I wandered along the riverbank to Maidstone United, where I attended a first-rate FA Cup-tie. I shall return to Puddings in early January, this time after an FA Cup-tie [lunchtime kick-off], for a late lunch/early tea to sustain me on the 'bus journey home to Royal Tunbridge Wells.

I can't rate this place high enough. The brie and cranberry panini was glorious. The Cappuccino was frothy and beautifully strong. The cake was amazing. The owners are absolutely lovely. And if you ever have somebody faint with you, this is the place to be ? the owners were super quick acting and very caring. This is my new regular.

More than just a coffee. Excellent customer service and delicious tasting coffee at drinking temperature. Beautiful design of coffee art which shows her expertise. The lady who served me even asked me how I would like the temperature for my latte which was fantastic as normally I get served a coffee too hot to drink from other coffee shops. I don’t live in the area but I will make the effort to go back on a Saturday morning to try other options on the menu. Great little shop with brilliant interior design. Love to come here with family or friends to have a treat or coffee.

Lovely place. We asked for ice creams and we've been in UK for almost 10 years and no one had been as generous as them. Each of us had two big scoops and we asked for blueberry/Eton mess and blueberry/chocolate mint and they were really tasty. The expressos were also really good. If we go back to Maidstone, it's definitely a place to return to.

My girlfriend and I visited the establishment with specific ice cream flavors in mind that we wanted into our bubble wraps, which was in the fridge displayed outside but we were met with inflexible and unaccommodating service.Despite the fact that the flavors we wanted were being sold separately, the waitress refused to customize our orders, stating that we could only choose from what was on the menu. We explained that we were willing to pay extra for the flavors we wanted, but our requests fell on deaf ears.We went ahead and ordered two bubble wraps anyway and asked if they could replace the bubble wrap ice cream flavour with the one flavour we wish which was from the display fridge outside at the entry, of course we’ll pay the this as a 2 extra ice creams, but to our dismay, we were served the ice cream we wanted separately.The attitude of the waitress was also incredibly rude and unwelcoming, making us feel like we were a burden to her, after she bring the bubble wraps and ice cream to our table she stated “ENJOY YOUR MESS”.

I really did intend to eat something sensible but the Black Cherry cake came out instead. It was lovely with some ice cream and a very good portion. Love the staff who are all friendly and enjoy some banter. Next time I must close my eyes and order something a little more healthy- or not!!
