Stumbled across this gem. Cool, natural, great coffee, buzzing and encouraged to go on a lively walk. What’s not to love?

Loverly place but unfortunately the food let's it down ordered pancakes and they was like the little ones you get from asda that you put in the toaster they was very dry and for £10 was very disappointing! Also the latte came in the smallest glass! Overpriced for what you get.

Lovely setting, inside is quite striking with its wood and twinkly lights, staff are polite and Banana Smoothies are amazing. Sadly that is where the joy ends. Went on a busy Saturday with all tables full so would expect a bit of a delay. Drinks came quite quickly, but food took ages and was a little disappointing, more could be done with presentation, even a tiny garnish might have helped. Having said that it tasted fine. Cutlery and glasses looked like they all needed a bit better cleaning.

Ordered 4 drinks and checked the order twice before paying. 3 cool /not hot drinks arrived. Checked order at counter, told 3 on my order only. Staff got it incorrect ,no options offered other than go to the back of the long queue!! Not impressed. Could have been handled better.

It's a lovely setting. Staff nice enough. Service reasonable. . Food not so great. No maple syrup for pancakes so offered golden syrup! Strawberry jam on my pancakes instead of fruit compote. Not good.A bit disappointed for our first visit.

Visited whilst the Kent artists were having their annual exhibition. Well laid out building with the top floor being used for the exhibition. The lower floor was the restaurant area. An unusual menu with no sandwiches which is usually the staple product for a café like this. Pleasant staff but serving was very slow. Didn’t manage to have a walk in the grounds as it was continuous rain while we were visiting.

Very nice and relaxing. Discovered by mistake , we don't know much around as fairly new to the area, but this place for us is a big win. Breakfast is very hummy. Portions are generous, so be hungry! You can walk around, and they have classes going on, too. Defo coming back.

Staff are lovely, food is excellent and the setting is beautiful. Great place for bite to eat or a coffee after a weekend walk with the family. I read a previous review from a French gentleman about arrogant and rude service (oh the irony) and suggest that you ignore it. The service is busy, because it is popular, but if you want a nice setting with good food and a warm welcome, Kingdom is a good choice.

An absolute delight! Didn’t expect to find such a spacious and cozy place for a Sunday lunch cum outing. A good food & drink menu (love their crepes!), and staff is cheerful and seem to enjoy their work. Highly recommend.

Staff ruin this wonderful place. Upon arrival, one can’t help but be impressed, it’s visually breathtaking, I’m excited but immediately my bubble is burst when staff look down their nose at me when I ask, ten minutes before opening time, when they open. Unsurprisingly, they don’t listen to our order and can’t make the effort to well cook an egg as a friend of mine cannot bear runny eggs. My espresso is undrinkable so order and pay for a flat white but after prompting staff several times and a twenty minute wait give up and walk out. Nobody makes an effort to fulfill the order I paid for. Staff are arrogant and unfriendly, clearly reliant on wealthy staff who are happy to hang in a place that looks cool despite being treated like scum and having to eat mediocre overpriced food.
