We were recommended this place and were not disappointed. It is a nicely fitted out place that lends itself to a informal atmosphere. The service was very friendly and unhurried. Nice menu and very niceky presented.

At first glance and the first few days it was great with a lovely waitress. Then three days ago my grandmother ordered chicken, an unfriendly waitress served it to her and forgot the sauce and salad, when we asked her she replied that in this dish there was neither sauce nor salad (although it's written on the menu and we ordered it the day before). From the first bite my grandmother choked! After 10 minutes I urgently asked the waitress for a phone to call the firefighters. She tells me “no with your phone”. Not only does it not provide help to an elderly person in danger, it is also more unpleasant. After much insistence, she gives me a phone but tells me not to call because they will take more than 45 minutes to arrive (they took 3 minutes). After all that our dishes were cold and they did not want to reheat our dishes and before we could even take a cold bite they asked us to pay full price for dishes that were not eaten. I strongly advise against!!

My daughter booked lunch for four plus a corgi a few days previous. When we arrived the restaurant/bar area was devoid of customers and were shown to a table but we decided to sit outside. However there was insufficient shade (30 degrees plus) so we returned to the restaurant area only to told we could not eat there because of the dog, despite having been seated there a few minutes previously. 1.15 pm on a Saturday and still an empty restaurant we departed. One member of staff was pleasant and willing to assist the other, presumably the manager was obnoxious. We ate elsewhere and expended in excess of £125 on food and drink, the menu prices were more competitive and the venue was buzzing.

We had a great meal and drinks here. Service nice and attentive,Small minus, the air conditioning could be a bit softer.

Lovely meal while staying at the Queen Phillipa, highly recommended. Beautiful prawn starter and seabass main course. My friend had the pork chop and said its the best he's ever had ?Wheelchair accessibility: Level access from street to restaurant, and through to garden at rear. Accessible toilet

Was looking for somewhere decent to eat on Sheppey. Decided to give it a go. I wasn’t disappointed . The food and service was really good. Definitely worth a visit, decent portion size too

We have dined here a few times due to a previous pleasant experience hence thought we’d eat here again but, on this occasion, the service and hospitality was extremely disappointing. Our dining experience wasn’t the same perhaps due to new management - Jacey’s used to be called The Queen Phillippa. When we arrived, first of all, the restaurant was empty. We ordered food after which another couple arrived. The waitress, upon observation, was extremely attentive towards the couple sat next to us having cleared their plates from the table as soon as they had finished their starter and main courses. She completely bypassed us, nor did she clear our plates until we asked for the bill. Two additional members of staff, furthermore, checked in on the same table, asking if they were ok and, once again, completely ignored us. A group of males also arrived, were seated and checked on regularly. Why not treat every table the same? Isn’t that true customer service? I’m not one to use the race card but if you’re a person of colour beware of this place now that it’s under new management #justsaying #callingyouout

Another great brunch provided by Jaceys Bistro for one of our wreath making workshops. This is the 3rd one we've held here and it never dissapoints. Great front of house service for drinks and a lovely 2 course brunch afterwards. All the attendees commented on the quality of the food.Thank you Jake and the team x

Excellent service and locally sourced food every day. One of the best in the local area in my experience after a week sampling from other restaurants and outlets , cosy atmosphere and a great outside beer garden if the weather is good, very scenic view also.

Have visited before but last evening was to celebrate my daughter’s 40th birthday with family and friends. Both food and service were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, and staff were very friendly and efficient throughout the evening. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.
