Really good - excellent cod in big flaky chunks, succulent cod roe, the batter was perfect, the chips were delightfully creamy and the gherkin was good and enormous. Seriously ten out of ten.

Ordered for 6 people last Saturday 7th October. They were busy, good sign. Have to say best fish chips we have had for long time. Batter was superb. Everyone cleared their plates. Definitely return.

This fish and chip shop has had several new proprietors over the last couple of years and unfortunately some were not great. However, the latest owners have improved the hygiene, quality of food and service to a very high level, I would highly recommend getting a takeaway from here now. I will go as far to say it’s the best fish and chips we have ever had.

I wanted to pop on here to say since the new management, the quality and service of this shop in the village is much improved and we really enjoyed our fish and chip meal. ???Tasted fresh, good sized fish, lovely batter and generous portion of chips. The only small niggle was that mushy peas were a bit cold but nothing that could not be fixed at home. ?Huge thank you to the new owners. Wishing you the best with the business and see you again soon.

At the time of writing this, the fish and chip shop has recently been taken over by new management, which is a breath of fresh air.It is lovely to have the local fish and chip shop serving great food again. Long may this continue.
