Unfortunately, the food always lets this place down. I can't understand why the chefs can never get the orders right. We always end up with only half of what we should have. The Christmas chicken burger was literally a chicken burger. None of the trimmings that should have accompanied it were there. Disappointing.Kid-friendliness: The kid's menu is quite good. The set menu is good value.

Went today for. My dads 86th birthday with 15 adults and 4 children our server Jeanette was brilliant nothing too much trouble provided a folder of options for two family members with allergies very accommodating food was delicious too would highly recommend thank you for a lovely afternoon

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door over new years eve so restaurant choice was a little limited. The first night we went in it took us 15 min to get a seat even though it was semi empty. We sat next to the open kitchen. Firstly the waitress took our order and forgot our starters, she did however then bring out the starter and took it off the bill. Secondly a chef from the kitchen nearly gloves came out into the restaurant on her phone sat on the floor and proceeded to have a long phone call with her family. She then pushed herself up from the floor, went back into the kitchen and proceeded to make a prawn salad still wearing the same gloves. The second chef was not wearing gloves at all and her piercings were not covered, she was cooking meat and ripping it apart with her fingers to see if it was cooked. The third chef was a man with a bread who was not wearing a beard shield. The barmaid seriously needs to know how to pull a pint, filling a guineas glass like a lager to the top DOES NOT work, you get a cloudy guiness and a glass that is covered in slop. No one seemed to care about the customers they were more interested in joking and shouting at each other. Do

Had our family Christmas Eve meal booked here for months since June and you’ve sent us an email an hour before our arrival. Not even a phone call. To say that you’re cancelling all tables due to no hot water. Disgusting!! Now there’s nowhere available in the area.

Lovely waitress named Grace served our party of 20 today. Very polite, friendly, and the hardest working waitress there. Unbelievable, how she coped with 20 people and seeing to others as well. Another waitress attitude was rude to customers. Managers' attitude towards one of our parties regarding the car park was very unhelpful, completely not interested. Didn't want to know, completely unacceptable. No complaints about the food. Toilet were spotless. Plenty of parking available. But be careful, if you are there longer than 3 hours, you need to pay

Had another lovely breakfast. ??. Have been to the breakfast 3 weeks running now in December with 2 kids (2yrs and 1.5yrs). Very comfortable, welcoming and staff are always friendly and say hello to the kids. ?? Food is great and caters for all choices (continental and cooked). Great start to our Friday mornings. See you in the new year, Merry Christmas Dan, Ophelia and Harper. ?

Party of 12, different families including very hungry children, we stepped in looking for food, bad attitude starting from the manager laughing on us for not booking tables, she sugested to order from the bar and we did, very bad attitude from the bar server not allowing to order the whole party and pushing us to decide quick with no patience at all, Not recommended to come at all, no family friendly!! Run to Mac Donalds instead you won't feel a racist treatment as these people!!

Rude staff rejecting a large family party of 12. Since our arrival the welcoming was terrible, the waiter laughed at us for not having a booking. Then after deciding to stay in the bar area she told us we had 10 minutes to order because her bookings were arriving soon. After this the server at the bar was incredibly rude, rushing everyone, and she even denied to take an order from a person in our party because she thought he wasn't with us, even after explaining the situation she didn't care and went to another customer tha5 arrived after us. We asked to speak to the manager, and the deputy manager came only to say we were too many and to defend the server, no apologies given. We left immediately after. It almost felt racist.It was our first and LAST time in that horrible place.
