“This is a small village pub rather than a travellers refreshment stop. If you can see past the worn interior and are not expecting gourmet food you will find a warm welcome and very good basic pub food. My wife and I enjoyed getting off the motorway and the fact that we very much enjoyed our visit here probably says more about us than the pub itself.”
