Went for Sunday Lunch , second time in 3 weeks , and although the first occasion was a great experience our second visit was even better . Very hospitable landlord welcomed us on arrival wonderful setting with huge log burning fire . Food fantastic , plentiful , tasty and superb desert . No wonder they won recent award for best pub Sunday lunch. Plenty good ales and wine selection . Great all round afternoon and very helpful pleasant staff .

Staff were very nice and friendly and the food was beautiful. Place was so festive with decorations and music, with the fireplace added a homley touch.

Don’t usually write reviews but I had to come and give the plough a review. Come quite often with my partner and 1 year old and there always so accommodating and friendly. They even know what we want to order now we go that often! Food always comes out quickly and services is always spot on. What you need when you have a 1 year old who won’t sit in the high chair for long. Even asked if I could take my mum home a roast dinner and they done me a takeaway one and she said it was the best one she’s ever eaten. Thanks so much - keep up the good work! X

I'm on the search for the best Sunday roast in kent and The Plough was mentioned a few times amongst my searches and I can say it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, The only thing I could fault was that the "crispy pork belly" was not that crispy but I know that sometimes it just does not want to be but it still tasted delicious and the roast potatoes were amazing probably second best to my homemade ones I've ever tasted! The staff were all amazing and very attentive and welcoming and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a great Sunday roast! Also the prices were more than fair for the quality of the meal.Keep up the good work!

Had a dinner date last night and the food, service and ambience were perfect, couldn’t of asked for better. Will defo be going back!! Can’t rate the pork belly, salt and pepper squid, halloumi sticks and puddings enough.

Very nice old coaching inn. Friendly staff and efficient service. We had a loverly meal, my only slight disappointment was the portion size. If the portions were bigger it would be 10 out of 10

These guys never cease to let us downAll the dishes we have had are outstanding ! We are particularly addicted to their pork belly starter ? and mac cheese .. the cheesecakes are absolutely delicious as is the Eton mess.. if we could eat there every night we would ! Praise be to their fantastic chef and the friendliness of the owners and their colleagues. XxKid-friendliness: Lovely garden. And the adorable Bob the African grey parrot ?Parking: You can park right outside or in their adjacent carpark .
