Hilltop Hotel & Restaurant

Had another fabulous meal at The Hilltop where Daren the proprietor welcomed us and made sure that we were looked after. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

This is a fantastic place to eat for special occasions. You are made so welcome by the staff and owners, I would highly recommend it.

This is a hidden gem. The staff are just brilliant. So friendly and welcoming. Welcome nibbles of olives and crisp are given on arrival.
3 course set menu with a good choice and the food is beautiful.
The decor is lovely and it’s very charming.

Lunch today at Hilltop was an outstanding experience - made even more pleasurable by the irrepressible manager Daren. A traditional English Sunday lunch served in comfortable, spacious - in places quirky - interconnecting dining rooms with attentive and personable staff keeping the buzzing guests fed and watered (or wined). Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch with my nan, she used to attend the reggae nights on a Friday back in the day. Darren was beyond attentive and really made my nan feel special, talking about the old days with her, gave her a tour of the venue, a bowl of the coleslaw she used to eat there and a lovely flower from the gardens as we left. Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch with friends - excellent meal, service & everything about this place! Have visited several times before for evening meals which are also excellent & pleased to say Sunday lunch definately did not disappoint. Well done to everyone at Ths Hilltop!!
