Dog friendly pub with a few different rooms. Staff could have been a little friendlier when we first went in. Good choice of music but very loud especially when you can take dogs in.

Excellent hosts and a lovely friendly atmosphere. We always get a lovely welcome here! The White Lion is a very old traditional inn, that has been modernised but still retains its charm. We last visited on a Sunday evening and enjoyed a live acoustic music event which is held there each month. The pub provided supper for the musicians, which on this occasion was delicious pizzas. We found the hosts to be welcoming, friendly and generous. Would highly recommend.
