This place is old dated and dirty,drinks are expensive, carpark needs relaying very uneven.First visit won't be coming back again sadly.Parking: Very uneven many potholes too

Halloumi chunky fries in breadcrumbs, garnished with mixed salad, cranberry and a slice of lemon with a side plate of fried potato. Go at evening in the round room, a little electric train runs around above your head, the subdued light g is relaxed and comfortable. We food the food to be of a high standard and recommend going there. Outside, is the canal and the lighting around the building is romantic. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

What draws me back here is their Steak and Kidney puds, I order it every time .The last time I was here, the chips that came with the meal were not hot, on this visit it was the same issue with the chips, so sadly won't be rushing back...

Wouldn't go again had burger and chips as a meal. For the price you pay I would expect a decent portion of chips not half a portion i meab you get more for less at a kfc or mcdonalds and drinks don't even come with a meal I will never be going to this place ever again the people who run this place need to rethink whatvyou get with a meal

Why serve hard warmed up chips. Used to love their homemade meals. The steak and kidney pud was good, but chips were awful. And the "broth" my partner had was veg soup!! Won't be rushing back.

Restaurant was extremely busy and wait times were excessive including the queue for ordering- it’s the same method at the end of the bar as always this needs rethinking in the modern world, including how more than one party on a table orders at the same time.
