A really nice little pub. The staff are extremely friendly and make u feel welcome. I had the 12oz stake which was cooked to perfection ( medium to well done) the chips are made from real potatoes with skin on. I wasn't sure I'd like them at first but to my surprise they are extremely good. Plenty of onion rings aswell which most places you pay extra for. They even do a doggy dinner for 2 pounds (beef chicken potatoes and gravy) I thought that was a nice touch for couples out for a walk. With a dog and fancy a snack or something to eat. Drink's are a bit expensive but I'd definitely recommend the coach. And will go again

Just arrived home after a lovely lunch with friends at the Coach, we all opted main courses, myself fish and chips, fish really good , lightly battered, so nice I wished I ordered the larger one. 2 others steak and ale pie and 1 cheese and onion , everyone eating up and pleased as punch with the food. Desserts , one crumble, one brownie , one crème brûlée and mine the lemon and raspberry pavlova, Wow ! delicious ! Coffee and drinks a good price so pleased about that. I Highly recommend the Coach, staff so helpful, listening to what you want, a a reasonable price for the 4 of us. Come and try it folks , you won’t be disappointed .

The food here is amazing. Cheese and onion pie was so good and the potato wedges to go with it are yummy. Haven't been here for ages but will definitely be returning soon. Popped in for a drink and some lunch with a couple of friends and our kids after our snowy walk took a lot longer than anticipated and the kids were starting to get a little fed up. Really welcoming and friendly with the kids. Great service and the food was obviously homemade and cooked from scratch. The portions were great and we enjoyed it very much. I thought it was really reasonably priced too. Would definitely return!!!Kid-friendliness: Had a really decent kids menu and we were made to feel welcome bringing our children in.
