Absolutely great welcoming atmosphere, wonderful surroundings and memorabilia of railways past. Superb range of beers and GREAT Guinness The food is delicious and can't say more about how good the quality.Server staff happy and professional and friendly. Only slight niggle smokers standing outside the door with it open Stink it blows in Otherwise perfect and highly recommended for food drinks and atmosphere

Hired the additional room for a baby shower and the team were great and on hand to help everything run smoothly. We opted for a pizza buffet which was delicious. We have since come back for lunches and desserts. The whole place is filled with beautiful character and fairy lights. The management and all staff are lovely and attentive. The place allows dogs and has a corner for games for the kids. A proper family friendly local pub. Will be back soon!Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surfaces and disabled parking

just come here for valentine’s day with my girlfriend and the service is alright and the staff are nice but the food is horrendous. it’s currently 8:46 in the evening and i haven’t eaten today and i refuse to eat my food. the sauce for my chicken tastes awful and my side smells off so i don’t even want to touch it and doesn’t look appealing at all. very disappointed with the food and will not be coming back here in the future. and my girlfriend doesn’t like her food ether.

Well hallelujah! At last a decent pub meal, definitely the best we’ve had in a long time. We just popped in for tea and will definitely return. Well deserved 5 stars.
Stopped off here on the way home from a hard morning's walk in the dales. We were a group of 4 middle aged truckers on a day off. I was starving and wasn't bothered about anything so long as it was edible. I had a cheese burger from the "light bites" section of the menu. It was ample and GORGEOUS! Followed up with cheesecake, again it was lovely. All the food was really reasonably priced and the staff were really nice, friendly and you can have a laugh with them. For an unexpected stop I really recommend it. Ideal last stop before the motorway. Thanks and well done ??

I had the salted chicken goujons for my starter, which was only 3 very small slices of chicken ? with a tiny bit of salad enough forva child now I know they were supposed to be salted, but hells bells it tasted like the whole salt seller was poured on. And the gammon steak was ok with the chips, and again the chips were very salty indeed, and so was the gammon, don't get me wrong the gammon was lovely but again very salty indeed I ate it as I had starved myself the whole day as I knew I was going for my tea, but all in all the meal was OK. Unfortunately I came home very hungry indeed so ordered food of just eat!!!!!!
