Cafes in Colne

“This place is much improved from a few years ago. Lots of branded goods at discounted prices. There is a large shoe section as well as cosmetics and lots and lots of clothes. You need to allow a couple of hours to really appreciate what is available. There is a café and a restaurant as well as a very good chippy.”

“Me and my husband booked a table for the Platinum Jubilee Jam night. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is quite quirky and different, with mismatched tables and chairs. I love it! The food is great whether you are a veggie or not. We had Onion Bhajis for starter...the best I have ever tasted! Then Mushroom and Veggie Curry...delicious, followed by Ice cream sundae! Very reasonable prices too! The Live Music Jam started later in the evening, giving us plenty of time to finish our meal, first. It was a lively and inclusive event, giving people the chance to get up and sing or play if they wanted to. It was a proper live music gig run by a local band, 432 acoustic Duo, who provided instruments for the audience to join in. So glad we went! We will certainly be back!”

“A lovely local beauty spot, lot's of folk as you walk around, very friendly and Ideal for dog walkers. On the day we visited the cafe could not accept card payment which was inconvenient and the toilets were closed with the nearest one some distance away. The cafe was quite basic but adequate for general refreshments.”
