I have a gluten allergy and they offer fantastic accommodations for it and more importantly make you feel comfortable they understand and take it seriously

On top of the quality food and friendly service, you then have such a fantastic view over the nature reserve and surrounding farmland. I would choose to sit outside on the benches and enjoy in any weather

“Me and my husband booked a table for the Platinum Jubilee Jam night. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is quite quirky and different, with mismatched tables and chairs. I love it! The food is great whether you are a veggie or not. We had Onion Bhajis for starter...the best I have ever tasted! Then Mushroom and Veggie Curry...delicious, followed by Ice cream sundae! Very reasonable prices too! The Live Music Jam started later in the evening, giving us plenty of time to finish our meal, first. It was a lively and inclusive event, giving people the chance to get up and sing or play if they wanted to. It was a proper live music gig run by a local band, 432 acoustic Duo, who provided instruments for the audience to join in. So glad we went! We will certainly be back!”

“This was a great outlet for grabbing lunch, where the menu options are clearly displayed at the counter although there was not a good level of stock as can be seen here. I enjoyed a cheese and onion pasty followed by a white chocolate cookie, service was fast!”

“Had spotted this bakery whilst driving to Skipton on previous trips.
Called in on Saturday morning bought bacon roll and coffee. Both excellent.
On return trip on Monday bought the takeaway cottage pie with peas and gravy. Was still warm when I got home over 1 5 hrs later. Just put it in microwave to get really hot and it was superb. Would buy this again.
Also bought a ham salad box for tea later.”
